Digital MPEG-2 Video Audio Encoder and Re-multiplexer MDH-3000EC is a professional MPEG-2/DVB real-time digital encoder and multiplexer which fully complies with ISO/IEC13818 standard. It also has the function of IP data insertion. It is of highly integrated 1U chassis with a broad field of applications such as CATV digital network, digital TV broadcast, digital multiplex and transmission of programs for MPEG-2/DVB standard. While digitally sampling and compressing analog video (from CVBS or S-Video interface) and audio signal into digital TS (Transport stream), it can multiplex this newly encoded TS with the that from the other input interface of DVB-ASI. The encoding rate (3~15Mbps) is adjustable according to the requirements of the application. The composite video interface accepts a NTSC or a PAL formatted input signal. With function of TCP/IP remote monitoring and control, PSI/SI can also be injected via Ethernet RJ-45 interface. In case it is necessary, the equipment can be upgraded via RS-232 interface.

• The inner MPEG-2 transport stream multiplexer of 3000EC can multiplex 2 Transport Streams into 1 Multiple Program Transport streams (MPTS).
• 3000EC can automatically generate PAT, PMT according to user's selection; Under control of software running on Windows, user can edit and insert NIT and SDT; SI table cycle rate is adjustable.
• 3000EC has two control modes, menu control mode and network operating mode. Under menu control mode, user operates by keys and the prompt of LCD. Under network operating mode, the operation is done through software running on Windows.
• It has two ways of inserting real-time IP data into the output TS, by using DVB-ASI interface or Ethernet interface.
